Shipping and Delivery Information

SHIPPING POLICY

Orders placed Mon - Fri before 12 Noon PST normally ship same day and should arrive to you within 2-5 business days or less (Some exceptions may apply). Special order items typically take longer than items stocked at our warehouse locations and delivery may take anywhere from 2-3 weeks.

Betty Mills ships to the 48 contiguous United States. Please see our Order Policy for order procedures shipping to APO/FPO locations. Generally, we do not ship to international locations. AK, HI or PR customers please call for a freight quote.   

The Betty Mills Company uses 3 delivery methods. Parcel carrier such as UPS, DHL or Federal Express, Over-sized Parcel Carrier and Freight Carrier. Third party accounts are not permitted.

Due to product weight, size, shape, or safety standards, some items are not shippable by parcel carrier, and require safe delivery via common over-sized parcel carrier or freight carrier. In such instances, it may be necessary to include a weight based freight charge due to the additional cost to deliver the product(s). Shipping charge will be reflected in the cart when viewed.

For residential & business orders shipped by common carrier, normal delivery is to curbside or loading dock and not inside the home or business. For any special request such as in home delivery or set up the freight company may assess additional charges. Customers are responsible for any such charges.

Include the most relevant phone number to contact when the order is placed. Customer is responsible for additional charges in case(s) of missed appointments or re-delivery.

Contact Betty Mills directly for any special delivery instructions. Alternatively, the consumer is responsible to provide a signed special instruction note for the driver in a conspicuous location at the delivery location.
 

What should I expect to receive my delivery?

Shipping times vary by product category, but generally you can expect to see your delivery within the stated time frames indicated below.  If an item is designated as a special order item, the lead time will be indicated on the product detail page.

Cleaning & Janitorial items: 2 - 5 business days. 
 
Industrial & Safety: 3 - 5 business days.
 
Office & Technology: 2 - 5 business days.
 
Snacks & Breakroom: 2 - 5 business days.
 
Office Furniture: 3 - 7 business days.
 
Storage & Shelving: 3 - 5 business days
 
Health & Wellness: 2 - 5 business days.
 

DELIVERY OF YOUR SHED & OUTDOOR UNIT

Most shed and storage buildings are shipped directly from the manufacturer, usually within 2-3 business days. However, Arrow and Handy Home brand sheds usually ship within 7-10 business days. Outdoor privacy screens and awnings typically take longer and ship within 2-3 weeks.

Delivery times on all sheds may also vary depending on your geographical location, and can add anywhere from 3-5 business days to the final delivery date. The freight carrier will contact you by telephone to schedule a convenient delivery time.

For residential orders shipped by freight truck, Standard Curbside Delivery provides delivery to the curb at the end of the driveway only. It is not the driver's responsibility to bring freight into the house, garage, backyard, etc. Drivers do not assist with unpacking, set-up or clean up. A signature upon delivery is required.

For any special requests such as delivery to the garage or backyard, there may be additional fees incurred. Special arrangements and fee payment must be made directly with the carrier at the time of delivery scheduling. In addition, the consumer is directly responsible to the carrier for any additional charges in cases of missed appointments and/or re-delivery. All additional delivery charges are to be paid directly to the carrier.

Upon delivery of the shed or storage building and prior to signing acceptance of the delivery, inspect the packaging for any obvious damage. Only sign the bill of receipt from the carrier if there is no obvious damage to the packaging and only if all the boxes are present. In the unlikely event there is damage to the packaging or the order is incomplete, please DO NOT accept delivery.

If the merchandise appears to be damaged in any way, notate the nature of the damage on the freight bill. This will aid in the repair/replacement process.

It is important to inspect the unit immediately to ensure the correct number of items. In the unlikely event there are missing and/or defective items, contact The Betty Mills Customer Support Department immediately. The Betty Mills Company will make every effort to resolve any problems experienced with the shed or storage building.

DELIVERY OF YOUR FLOOR CARE EQUIPMENT

All Floor Machine Equipment is shipped directly from the manufacturer, usually within 5-7 business days.

Delivery times on all Floor Machine Equipment may also vary depending on your geographical location, and can add anywhere from 3-5 business days to the final delivery date.

Upon delivery of your Floor Machine Equipment and prior to signing acceptance of the delivery, inspect the packaging for any obvious damage. Only sign the bill of receipt from the carrier if there is no obvious damage to the packaging and only if all the boxes are present. In the unlikely event there is damage to the packaging or the order is incomplete, please DO NOT accept delivery.

If the merchandise appears to be damaged in any way, notate the nature of the damage on the freight bill. This will aid in the repair/replacement process.

DELIVERY OF YOUR VENDING UNIT

All vending machines are shipped directly from the manufacturer; estimated delivery time is within 2 to 3 weeks. Upon shipping, an email notification is generated by The Betty Mills Company containing tracking information, which can be used to track orders online using shippers websites.

Upon arrival at the delivery terminal, the freight line will make contact by telephone in order to schedule a convenient delivery appointment. Appointments are available during normal business hours and span a 4-hour period. Please include a daytime phone number in the shipping information at the time of check out.

White Glove Service is included in the price of shipping. The delivery agent will bring the equipment inside, unpack and remove the packaging material. Steps or stairs will be an additional charge to be negotiated and pre-paid at the time of delivery confirmation directly to the carrier.

If you do have any special delivery requests additional fees may be incurred. Special arrangements and fee payment must be made directly with the carrier at the time of delivery scheduling. In addition, the consumer is directly responsible to the carrier for any additional charges in cases of missed appointments and/or re-delivery. CANCELLATION INFORMATION

All orders are processed upon receipt. It is only possible to cancel an order prior to shipping. All cancellations may be subject to a credit card processing and any additional associated fees.
